I just had an incredible IPL laser session with Kara and Kelly today. I have rosacea and have used IPL for years to help reduce the redness. This is often a very painful laser treatment, but Kara and Kelly numbed my skin beforehand and used this incredible cold blower during the treatment that made it very close to pain free. It was incredible. I won’t dread IPL treatments ever again. This was the most comfortable I have ever been during a treatment. And my before and after photos truly demonstrated the effectiveness of this treatment. I highly recommend this medical spa and Kara and Kelly for IPL laser treatments! 5 stars!! More

My experience here at Pura Vida was magical and welcoming from the moment I walked in. From the beautiful boutique, welcoming faces, and aesthetically pleasuring atmosphere, to my initial consultation with Melissa, I was very pleased and the long drive from my home to the spa was well worth it. With very little knowledge, I initially went in thinking I wanted micro channeling done due to my acne scarring and redness. However, after sitting down with Melissa and explaining a little bit about my skin and what I want to ultimately achieve, she confidently recommended 3 sessions of a chemical peel (3 suitable to my skin needs/ concerns) which I have never had before. She thoroughly explained each step of the process, and explained everything financially with no pressure intended or forceful convincing how I have experienced from other spas and estheticians in the past… This made me feel 10x more comfortable and confident in her ability to help me with my skin journey. Her recommendation saved me money in the long run and she was overall very informative. During the treatment, I was relaxed and she was super gentle. My experience with the peel was overall a 10/10. Came here as a Christmas celebration/relaxation. My girlfriend and I had massages by Stephanie and facials by Hannah. Stephanie was amazing and Hannah is an excellent esthetician. Spa package was wonderful and staff was very pleasant and attentive during and in between services. Charcuterie board was perfect and customer service was impressive. From each service to the next a spa coordinator was there to lead to next service and ask if anything was needed which was appreciated. Manager was great and they truly made it feel like home and we were their valued guest. Will return and will recommend to friends and family to experience this lovely Spa and its lovely staff. More

Me and my mom went to get facials two days ago at Pura Vida and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. Kennadi was as sweet as can be and gave the most relaxing and thorough facial. Jessie did my moms and she still has not stopped talking about how amazing she was! From stepping in the building to stepping out our experience was great, they were even able to squeeze us in for a consult for another service while we were there. Definitely recommend Pura Vida! I recently had Dermaplaning and a couple DiamondGlow facial. My experience from arriving through following up with the front desk before leaving was delightful. On a hot Friday afternoon in Florida, I had to ride my bike to my appointment. When entering the women who greeted me gave me water and set me up with cold towels and a robe before even checking me in. She was so sweet. Sherrida performed my procedures. She made sure I was comfortable and regularly checked in to ensure I was ok and not having any pain or concerns. She kept me informed throughout the process and gave great recommendations with explaining why. An added bonus was, not only was she friendly, she was funny. Great experience and looking forward to my next visit. More

First let me say that the place is lovely. The entry to the spa  is very calming and  the employees were very friendly and it was also very clean. I have been to quite a few salt caves in my life in different States and I would have given this five stars except for a few different things:The salt machine is extremely loud.  I don’t think I’ve ever heard one that loud before, it could also be that the room is kind of small and it was very warm in there. Every salt cave I’ve been to it’s more of a darker, dimmed room-it’s kind of chilly and you can hear the relaxing music over the machine that was not the case here. I didn’t think I was going to like the chairs that they had but they were comfortable enough however every other salt cave that I’ve been to had actual recliners to make comfort your number one priority so you can relax and actually enjoy all the benefits of the cave.If you don’t mind the noise, this may work for you. I do plan on giving them one more shot to see if I can get comfortable this time with the noise and relax.The folks that I was treating for the day enjoyed it as it  was their first time to a salt room.If you’d like to see what I’m talking about look up Himalayan salt cave in Englishtown New Jersey. This was my 3rd visit with Kallie. Normally I get a facial with derma-planing. Kallie had mentioned previously a chemical peel is a road we can take to clear up my sun scars and pigmentation. **not gonna lie I was pretty nervous at 1st**it’s very comforting to hear her confident voice as she performs step by step. The process was 1,2,3 and we were done! Before I left she answered all my aftercare questions. Explained the process my skin will go through over the next few days and how to treat it.
