Program Overview

What the Weight Loss Program does

Weight is rarely about willpower alone. Hormones, metabolism, stress, and daily routine all play a part, and they look different for every patient. We take the time to understand what’s driving it for you, then build your lifestyle guidance and program tier around that.

Your options range from peptide therapy to a GLP-1 class medical plan, always sourced through licensed pharmacies and monitored monthly. If a GLP-1 class medication isn’t the right or safe fit, we’ll tell you and point you toward Thinnr or our phentermine program instead, part of our complete medical weight loss care.

What’s Included

What every tier includes

Whichever tier you’re matched to, your program comes with the same core support: a full assessment, monthly visits, and honest screening.

A whole-person assessment

We spend real time understanding what is driving the weight — hormones, metabolism, stress, or daily habits — so your plan treats the underlying cause and the guidance actually fits your life.

Monthly visits, with support between them

You see your nurse practitioner every month, with phone support in between so you can ask questions or adjust course without waiting for your next appointment. Lifestyle coaching, like a Mediterranean way of eating, is built into every plan.

Honest, screened candidacy

Every patient is screened on health history, vitals, weight, and BMI before starting. When a GLP-1 class medication is not appropriate for you, we say so and recommend an alternative like Thinnr.

Program Tiers

Three tiers, matched to your history

Your provider recommends a starting tier at your screening visit and can move you between tiers over time as your plan progresses.

Tier 1.0 · Peptide-Based

A non-injectable peptide plan

A peptide option using Sermorelin, which supports your body’s own growth-hormone rhythm — a fit for patients who prefer to avoid a GLP-1 class medication.

Best if you’d rather avoid a GLP-1 medication

Tier 2.0 · GLP-1 Class

Supervised medical weight loss

A GLP-1 class medication, sourced and dispensed through licensed pharmacies and monitored monthly by your nurse practitioner. We discuss the class of medication and what to expect, never a brand name.

Best if you’re ready for GLP-1 class medical weight loss

Tier 3.0 · GLP-1 Class + Support

A more comprehensive plan

A GLP-1 class medication paired with additional monitoring and support for patients who want more structure around their plan, adjusted together as you progress and, if needed, if you plateau.

Best if you’ve tried before and want more structure

We discuss medications by class and mechanism at your visit. Specific brand names and dosing are a conversation with your provider, not a marketing claim on this page.

Fleming Island · Northeast Florida

Weight loss that holds up after the program ends

Our Fleming Island patients want results that hold up to a coastal, active lifestyle, not a crash plan that rebounds the moment it ends. We coach lifestyle changes, like a Mediterranean way of eating, alongside every tier so the goal is a change that lasts, not just a number this month.

Northeast Florida’s UV index climbs to extreme from spring through late summer, and sun exposure drives much of the collagen loss and visible aging we treat, so care here is as much about prevention as it is about correction.

The practice Fleming Island trusts for medical wellness, voted the area’s best medspa six years running, cared for from our Medical Spa on Island Lane.

The Pura Vida Approach

A care team that stays with you

Every tier comes with monthly monitoring and honest conversation about what is and isn’t working. Between visits, you can reach us by phone to ask a question or adjust course, so you are supported the whole way through rather than left to manage a prescription on your own.

That is the difference between chasing a medication and getting care from a team that treats your weight-loss plan as one part of your health, part of our full medical weight loss program.

Is This For You?

Am I a Candidate?

A Good Fit If…

  • you want a clinician-guided plan rather than a one-time prescription
  • you are open to monthly check-ins and honest adjustments if you plateau
  • you are willing to pair the program with lifestyle changes so results are more likely to last
  • you understand your tier is decided after a full screening, not requested in advance

Let’s Talk First If…

  • you have a personal or family health history that may make a GLP-1 class medication inappropriate, which we screen for honestly
  • you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain thyroid or hormone conditions, so let us talk first
  • you are hoping for a guaranteed amount of weight lost, which no honest provider can promise
  • you would prefer a completely non-medication path, in which case Thinnr may be the better starting point

If a GLP-1 class tier is not the right or safe fit for you, we will tell you honestly and recommend Sermorelin, Thinnr, or our phentermine program instead. Declining a tier that would not serve you is part of how we work.

Ready to Start?

Let’s find the right tier for your weight-loss plan

Request an appointment for a screening visit and leave with a program tier matched to your health history, not a guess.

Our Process

What to expect at your visit

A screening visit, first

We review your family and personal health history, take your vitals, weight, and BMI, and talk honestly about why past attempts have or have not worked. A nurse practitioner determines whether a medical weight-loss tier is appropriate and safe for you.

A tier matched to your history

If a GLP-1 class medication is not the right fit, we recommend Sermorelin or point you toward Thinnr instead. If it is appropriate, we start at the tier that matches your goals and health profile, never assuming the highest tier is the right one.

Monthly monitoring and adjustment

We see patients monthly to check in on how you are eating, how much you are moving, and whether you have plateaued. If progress stalls, we talk through what is happening and adjust the plan together rather than leaving you to figure it out alone.

A plan for after the program, too

Our goal is to help you change habits, like following a Mediterranean diet, so that when you eventually come off a program, you do not experience rebound weight gain. This is a partnership through the whole journey, not just the medication phase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Weight Loss Program Questions, Answered

What medication is used in the Rocking Bod weight-loss tiers?

Rocking Bod 1.0 uses Sermorelin, a peptide that supports your body’s own growth-hormone rhythm, while Rocking Bod 2.0 and 3.0 use a GLP-1 class medication prescribed and monitored monthly by your nurse practitioner. We describe every tier by its medication class, not by brand name, and the specific medication and dose are decided at your screening visit, never published as a marketing claim.

Who is not a good candidate for a GLP-1 class weight-loss medication?

Patients with certain personal or family health history, including some thyroid conditions, are not good candidates for a GLP-1 class medication, which is why every patient is screened on health history, vital signs, weight, and BMI before starting any tier. When a GLP-1 class medication is not appropriate or not your preference, we recommend Sermorelin, our non-injectable Thinnr program, or a short-term phentermine program instead, so you still leave with a plan.

How much does a medically supervised weight-loss program cost?

Program cost depends on the tier you are screened into, since Sermorelin, a GLP-1 class medication, and added support like lipotropic injections are priced differently, and your exact cost is confirmed at your consultation at our Fleming Island Medical Spa. What stays the same across every tier is the monthly visit with your nurse practitioner, so the price always includes ongoing monitoring, not just a prescription.

How much weight can I expect to lose, and is a specific amount guaranteed?

No specific amount of weight loss is guaranteed on this program; individual results vary based on your body, your history, and how closely the plan fits your life. What we can promise is monthly monitoring, honest screening, and adjustments to your plan if you plateau, which matters more long-term than any single number on a scale.

What happens if my weight loss plateaus on this program?

If your progress stalls, we review what you have been eating and how much you are exercising to understand why, then adjust your plan together, sometimes changing your tier or adding support like lipotropic injections. A plateau is a signal to adjust the plan, never a reason to leave you waiting it out alone.
