A traditional fat transfer is a two-part surgery: fat is harvested from your own body with liposuction, then purified and grafted where you want more volume. alloClae™ skips the harvest. It is a ready-to-use structural adipose filler made from donated human fat tissue, screened and processed so that no living cells remain while the fat keeps its natural three-dimensional structure. Once placed, it performs like your own fat, adding volume immediately and acting as a natural scaffold your own tissue can grow into over time, so the result settles as soft, natural volume rather than an overfilled look.
At Pura Vida, we use alloClae™ for body contouring. It is most often chosen to soften hip dips, the inward curve below the hip bone that is shaped largely by bone structure and rarely changes with exercise, and to add shape and projection to the buttocks for a smoother hip-to-glute line. It can also even out small contour irregularities where fat naturally sits. Because it is not surgery, not an implant, and not a synthetic filler, many patients see it as a no-downtime alternative to a surgical Brazilian Butt Lift.
It is also different from our Liquid BBL with Radiesse and Sculptra, which builds volume gradually from your own collagen. alloClae™ adds volume right away, using fat. Place alloClae™ in-office
After numbing the area for your comfort, Brittany places alloClae™ through a small cannula, layering the fat at the right depth and sculpting it evenly as she goes. This careful placement is what makes the result look like your own shape. Treatment typically takes about 30 to 90 minutes. Expect some soreness, swelling, or bruising in the treated area for a few days, with most patients back to normal activity within one to two days.

Placing donor fat into that hollow can smooth the line from your waist to your thigh. How much correction is possible depends on your anatomy, and Brittany will tell you honestly at your consultation what to expect.
How is alloClae™ different from a surgical Brazilian Butt Lift?
A surgical Brazilian Butt Lift is a fat transfer performed in an operating room: fat is removed by liposuction and then regrafted, with the recovery and risk profile of surgery. alloClae™ uses donor fat instead, so there is no liposuction. It is placed in-office, typically in under an hour, and most patients return to normal activity within a day or two. It suits patients who want a more subtle, natural refinement rather than a surgical change, and if a surgical result is truly your goal, we will say so plainly rather than oversell a non-surgical option.
How is alloClae™ different from your Liquid BBL?
Both are non-surgical, but they work in different ways. Our Liquid BBL uses Radiesse and Sculptra to prompt your own collagen, so volume builds gradually over months across a series of sessions. alloClae™ is a donor-fat transfer that adds volume immediately, using fat tissue rather than stimulating collagen. At your consultation we explain both honestly and recommend the one that fits your goal, your timeline, and your body.
What is alloClae™ made of, and is it safe?
alloClae™ is made from donated human fat tissue and is regulated as a Human Cell and Tissue Product (HCT/P), which means the donor tissue is screened and tested under the FDA framework for these products. It contains no living cells. As with any injectable procedure there are possible risks, including bruising, swelling, soreness, and less commonly firmness or nodules at the treated site, and it is not appropriate for everyone. How long do alloClae™ results last, and how much does it cost?
