Julie Davis - President/CEO

Julie Davis is the creator and founder of Pura Vida. A self-professed and unapologetic nerd, Julie has been a life-long learner — she's received a law degree from Mercer University, a masters in health administration from Ohio University, and holds many healthcare management certifications. In addition, Julie’s professional background consists of over 20 years in the healthcare industry, including plastic surgery and medspas, so she is well prepared and capable of leading the Pura Vida Body & Mind Team.

She is a driven and passionate entrepreneur and leader who prides herself on giving back whenever she can, never letting adversity slow her down. Julie has mentored many women in business and helped them achieve levels they could not have imagined. In keeping with the spirit of giving back, Julie has also founded two non-profit organizations. Reconstructing Dreams, Inc., her most recent, provides no-cost cosmetic services to victims of violent crimes such as domestic abuse and sex trafficking. She also serves as a court-appointed, volunteer guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children placed into the foster system. When you visit our Spa Boutique at Pura Vida, you will come across numerous local and handmade items for sale such as body scrubs made by adult daycare patients suffering from dementia. Last but not least, Julie believes wholeheartedly in leading by example, so don’t be surprised when you see her working right alongside the other Pura Vida team members.
