About Sarah Perkins, PA-C, M.S
Hi! My name is Sarah. I am a resident of Fleming Island and I am thrilled to join the Pura Vida team! Here’s why. Although I have been a licensed healthcare provider for more than 20 years with experience in many different specialties, I have a real love for aesthetic medicine. I find it incredibly fulfilling to help transform others into a more confident version of themselves. Having a strong understanding of anatomy and skin chemistry and a naturally artistic eye, I am able to enhance the facial appearance with dermal fillers and neurotoxins while maintaining a natural look. I also enjoy improving the health and appearance of the skin using cosmetic tools such as lasers, IPL and Vivace RF Microneedling. Whether you want to reduce the signs of aging, correct deformities or asymmetries, or you just want to enhance the things you like most about yourself, I really enjoy taking that journey with you.
I graduated with a Master of Science from Baylor College of Medicine’s Physician Assistant program in 1995. I am certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and I am an active member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
I believe in giving back to my community whenever I can. On the days I am not working at Pura Vida, I work for the Way Free Medical Clinic in Green Cove Springs providing chronic and acute care for the Clay County indigent population. I am also a volunteer for Operation Walk where I provide post- operative and discharge care to recipients of no-cost joint replacement surgeries. Being a mom and a former college soccer player, fitness is still a big part of my life today. I enjoy running, tennis, Pilates, and biking with my daughter’s very energetic dog.
