I just had an incredible IPL laser session with Kara and Kelly today. I have rosacea and have used IPL for years to help reduce the redness. This is often a very painful laser treatment, but Kara and Kelly numbed my skin beforehand and used this incredible cold blower during the treatment that made it very close to pain free. It was incredible. I won’t dread IPL treatments ever again. This was the most comfortable I have ever been during a treatment. And my before and after photos truly demonstrated the effectiveness of this treatment. I highly recommend this medical spa and Kara and Kelly for IPL laser treatments! 5 stars!! More

I now go to the new location off of 220 it is great ! My Facials are now done by Jesse she does an awesome facial and I am so relaxed afterwards my skin looks wonderful. Today was my first visit to Pura Vida and definitely will not be my last. They have a wonderful room where you can sit and relax while your wait for your appointment, that even has a little bar area. There is a sauna and salt cave near the waiting area that I would love to check out, as they both looked awesome. Jessie performed my facial and she was excellent! The facial was very relaxing and refreshing. Would love to plan a girl's spa day here. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't. More

I have been to quite a few salt caves in my life in different States and I would have given this five stars except for a few different things:The salt machine is extremely loud.  I don’t think I’ve ever heard one that loud before, it could also be that the room is kind of small and it was very warm in there. Every salt cave I’ve been to it’s more of a darker, dimmed room-it’s kind of chilly and you can hear the relaxing music over the machine that was not the case here. I didn’t think I was going to like the chairs that they had but they were comfortable enough however every other salt cave that I’ve been to had actual recliners to make comfort your number one priority so you can relax and actually enjoy all the benefits of the cave.If you don’t mind the noise, this may work for you. I do plan on giving them one more shot to see if I can get comfortable this time with the noise and relax.The folks that I was treating for the day enjoyed it as it  was their first time to a salt room.If you’d like to see what I’m talking about look up Himalayan salt cave in Englishtown New Jersey. From the moment you walk in, the world outside seems to disappear. The ambience & tranquility takes your mind to a place of peace & softness. My mom and I went to pura vida for spa services and absolutely loved it. We met with Jules and she was great and made our experience so good from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to our concerns and formulated a treatment plan accordingly. She is always so sweet and has a smile on her face. She also makes you feel very comfortable. The Spa is very elegant and clean, we enjoyed all the services, including the salt room, the salt facial, Emsculpt NEO and skinny shots ! I’d really been wanting to try salt room therapy for seasonal allergy relief. So glad I picked up this spa. Very relaxing vibe from the moment you enter the lobby. I go to the Himalaya salt room,regularly. This has help my, psoriatic arthritis, Psoriasis and is so relaxing. Pura Vida is completely wonderful. I loved the micronutrient treatments I’ve gotten. I felt like I had more energy when I got them regularly. My chronic pain improved. I have issues with my skin being itchy, and that got better. I would recommend that anyone with fibromyalgia, itchy skin, or fatigue issues give it a try. It’s the best thing I’ve tried so far for my overall health. The salt room is fabulous, so relaxing, and I think it’s helped my skin, allergies, and asthma. All the staff is amazing. They take such good care of you at every level, making it truly personal experience. I highly recommend Pura Vida, Julie, Melissa, Jules, Kathy and all the excellent staff. They are very friendly and I enjoyed going to thr salt treatment. You just sit in a room that is relaxing and the salt air mists around you. I usually fall asleep. I bring my son and he enjoys waiting in the waiting toom in there recliner chairs, he falls asleep as well. The best messages you will ever experience. Great place to go. More

A friend and I planned a girl's getaway recently and were very pleased with our first visit to Pure Vida Spa. From the initial phone call to select services and reserve our date, to our arrival and welcome to the services and all of the amenities, this rivaled big town famous spas. Every staff member was gracious and helpful, the waiting area and relaxation room room were very comfortable. We had visited a different salt room prior, this one is really nice! I will definitely visit again and bring more girlfriends for a fun Fleming Island spa, lunch and shopping afternoon. More

I visited Pure Vida on 10/17/2020 and it was absolutely wonderful. Full disclosure, I am 6.5 months (largely) pregnant. I started with an Essentials Facial. My aesthetician was fantastic, very friendly and did a great job. If you are pregnant, I suggest asking to move the bed/chair to an upright position. My skin felt smooth and very hydrated afterwards. Although I enjoy a good facial, my true love is massage. I LIVE for a good massage. My masseuse was amazing and friendly. While this is my third pregnancy, she still explained all my options for side positions. I splurged on the 80 minute massage and it did not disappoint. I was so relaxed, I fell asleep a few times. My masseuse even apologized for the loud conversation occuring outside my treatment room, but it didn't matter. I was in heaven. I have some varicose and spider veins on my right lower leg. She was so gentle and accommodating, it was incredible. This is my first experience at a medical spa. I was unaware of the gratuity rules. I hope my ladies receive a great bonus because they deserve it. I will definitely be back at Pure Vida in the future. More

Each time I visit, I enjoy my experience at Pura Vida! They truly care about what is best for my skin. Recently I had an appointment as soon as they reopened (COVID-19). I couldn’t wait for my hydra facial! Upon arrival, I shared with Melissa that I had just been to my dermatologist and she listened, was familiar with the treatment and advised me to let it do it’s work and re-scheduled my facial so I can get the full benefit. First thing I noticed is that no one was wearing a mask. So that concerned me a bit. Which is why I gave four stars. I wore my mask when I came in and then took it off for my facial. They should enforce masks here especially during facials when you are up close with the person giving you a facial. ( right next to your face and talking to you) Otherwise everything was perfect. We went to this spa as a girls day out to celebrate an upcoming wedding,everything room is decorated beautifully and appeared very clean. The facial was amazing, the salt room was unlike any other I've ever seen, really cool! The massage was nice, wonderful neck massage, that was the best part. The staff over all was very nice. The spa its self I would of given 5 stars if not for one thing. We were told we would have the lobby to ourselves for our lil group, they had snacks (we brought some too) which was awesome but as were laying there in our robes(that the spa provided), some other people who were getting services done were also in the lobby, which was fine but they were all fully clothed and here we are in the robes, just felt kinda strange Wish I could give half points because really 4.5 is deserved! Pura Vida is completely wonderful. I loved the micronutrient treatments I’ve gotten. I felt like I had more energy when I got them regularly. My chronic pain improved. I have issues with my skin being itchy, and that got better. I would recommend that anyone with fibromyalgia, itchy skin, or fatigue issues give it a try. Pro: Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to this particular spa! My masseuse was Erica and she was absolutely fantastic, I 100% plan on returning to visit her again. I haven't felt this relaxed in years! Con: Upon entering the spa (signage at the first entrance downstairs would be great) the welcome I received didn't feel as warm as the elderly woman who arrived after me and seemed to be a regular customer. However, the women who helped me towards the end was warm and helpful. I wish there was a clearer explanation of what I was getting done and how to navigate the space after arrival. I didn't realize the salt room would be so intense, as the micro particles caught me off guard initially, yet was still enjoyable. Lastly, I could hear the banter from the women at the front counter during my massage, which didn't bother me but it could potentially bother others. More

I can’t tell you how fortunate I feel to have a high grade salt therapy room so close to where I live. I had chronic sinus infections and multiple rounds of antibiotics until I made a decision to stop treating with antibiotics and seek more holistic therapies, which led me to the salt therapy. I can’t express how much it has helped me break the cycle of infections. And, the time spent breathing and relaxing is definitely a much needed benefit. I also have to express how much I appreciate Melissa. After we discussed any areas of concern for her to pay special attention to, she allowed me to customize the aromatherapy as well as the music options. The massage was one of the best I’ve had, and I have experienced several in which to compare to. The spa itself is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great experience from booking the appointment to being greeted once at the spa.Nice atmosphere and decor.Erika was my massage therapist and she was excellent; very professional, polite and got my back..... no pun intended! She exceeded my expectations since this was my first appointment with her.I enjoyed my massage session and benefited from it right away. Erika was able to understand my needs and customized the massage based on my requests.I will gladly return and request to have another session with her. More

Julie, Pura Vida’s owner, has certainly created a wonderful place to escape right here in Fleming Island. The staff is so friendly and spa is absolutely beautiful! I have only visited twice and feel at complete ease. The treatment rooms are cozy and clean and there is also a great space for gathering, which is used for health workshops and converted to a yoga studio on certain nights. Had an amazing massage from Erika! She was very attentive and listened to my needs. I have also enjoyed the salt room twice and can say it has noticeably helped my sinuses. Allergy sufferers take note! Sitting in that room for 30 minutes has done wonders and the best part is that it is relaxing too. I will definitely be returning soon. More

I just got home from a most wonderful and relaxing spa experience at puravida. The hydra facial made my skin feel very nice and rejuvenated and the salt room session was most relaxing. If you are looking for a great new spa to go to, check out Pura Vida Body and Mind Spa in Fleming Island. You will feel instantly welcomed the minute you walk in. A soothing and authentic vibe - the staff is great! You can tell right away everyone involved bringing this space to life really took time to make it something special. I actually feel like a guest rather than a dollar sign...so refreshing! They do not accept tips, so don't take offense if they turn you down... it's not personal. There is a cute boutique area of lovely products you can purchase from natural soaps and skin care to bath salts, candles, and other pretty items. There is a salt room, treatment rooms (i.e. laser & massage), and a lounging area. I was very pleased with the professionalism and "cool girl" personality of Amanda (aesthetician). I feel like I can expect solid skincare advice and treatment recommendations specifically tailored for me (rosacea/acne and tattoo removal). I do have to say, I live near Gate Pkwy/JTB, which can be somewhat of a drive at certain times of the day. And I am sure you can imagine, there are many spas around me (I have tried most of them), but I really like this one. I just schedule my times around rush hour and the drive is easy-peasy! More
