Andrea is amazing! Her facials are the absolute best, very thorough, gentle and she is very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. What I love the most is she works with the contours of my face when delivering DMST services. I have a very thin face and prior to having it done by Andrea it was sooooo painful as the device kept hitting my cheek bones and jaw bone. Today was my first visit to Pura Vida and definitely will not be my last. They have a wonderful room where you can sit and relax while your wait for your appointment, that even has a little bar area. There is a sauna and salt cave near the waiting area that I would love to check out, as they both looked awesome. Jessie performed my facial and she was excellent! The facial was very relaxing and refreshing. Would love to plan a girl's spa day here. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't. More

Ok so here’s the thing, I am a tough critic when it comes to spas because I’m an esthetician and I feel like everyone and their mom thinks they can open a spa. I’ve been to places and walked out before or shortly after checking in due to either cleanliness, professionalism, my comfort with a service provider or due to being stuck waiting well after my appt time. NONE of that was an issue today. More

My first time getting Botox and it was a great experience. The spa itself is so pretty with soft lighting and calming music and comfortable seating. My anesthetician was wonderful. She explained everything and answered all my questions. The Botox was done with minimal discomfort and I’m excited to see my results. Thank you! More

Saturday I had my third visit to Pura Vida. Sherrida Ayabarreno Preformed my service. After my last facial she recommended the Salt rather than the Diamond, which I had gotten the previous two times. She was 100% right. She understood my skin type and with my skin being a little more in the oily side, this was the perfect recommendation. My skin is brighter, but not shinier. I recently had Dermaplaning and a couple DiamondGlow facial. My experience from arriving through following up with the front desk before leaving was delightful. On a hot Friday afternoon in Florida, I had to ride my bike to my appointment. When entering the women who greeted me gave me water and set me up with cold towels and a robe before even checking me in. She was so sweet. Sherrida performed my procedures. She made sure I was comfortable and regularly checked in to ensure I was ok and not having any pain or concerns. She kept me informed throughout the process and gave great recommendations with explaining why. An added bonus was, not only was she friendly, she was funny. This was my 3rd visit with Kallie. Normally I get a facial with derma-planing. Kallie had mentioned previously a chemical peel is a road we can take to clear up my sun scars and pigmentation. **not gonna lie I was pretty nervous at 1st**it’s very comforting to hear her confident voice as she performs step by step. The process was 1,2,3 and we were done! Before I left she answered all my aftercare questions. Explained the process my skin will go through over the next few days and how to treat it. They did not take long to respond at all, quicker than I expected, answered all my questions, and it was super easy. Once I arrived, the ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly, but not “fake” friendly like a lot of places can be. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Also, the place itself is super relaxing and VERY clean. It was a very comfortable setting. The service I had gotten was dermaplaning, and I got it done with Krissy(sorry if I misspelled lol). She was SO sweet, easy to talk to, she saw I was pregnant and made it more comfortable for me without me having to even ask, throughout the process she’d let me know what she was doing and would ask if I’m OK still , overall she was just a caring, careful, and friendly person. I would definitely go back to her again! I got dermaplaning done yesterday, so I was red and swollen from her getting my super deep clogged pores clean, but today my skin is SOOO smooth, not swollen, just a little red. Nothing hurts or burns, I put on my lotion and some serum and nothing hurt or burned. My pores look smaller already, my face looks smoother and cleaner. I’m so glad I got this done! The other treatment was hydro therapy facial on my lower legs for super dry skin. The tech explained what she was going to do and how it worked. I was a bit surprised at a “scraping” sensation I felt. Again NO pain! I find all the staff to be very welcoming and personable. I know some about the procedures offered, but they all seem well informed and eager to educate. I am already thinking about my next visit 😍 More

I had IPL laser on my hands and forearms. There were some zingy moments but no actual pain and then came the ice water bath towels. SWEET! The other treatment was hydro therapy facial on my lower legs for super dry skin. The tech explained what she was going to do and how it worked. I was a bit surprised at a “scraping” sensation I felt. Again NO pain! I find all the staff to be very welcoming and personable. I know some about the procedures offered, but they all seem well informed and eager to educate. I am already thinking about my next visit 😍 More

I visited Pure Vida on 10/17/2020 and it was absolutely wonderful. Full disclosure, I am 6.5 months (largely) pregnant. I started with an Essentials Facial. My aesthetician was fantastic, very friendly and did a great job. If you are pregnant, I suggest asking to move the bed/chair to an upright position. My skin felt smooth and very hydrated afterwards. Although I enjoy a good facial, my true love is massage. I LIVE for a good massage. My masseuse was amazing and friendly. While this is my third pregnancy, she still explained all my options for side positions. I splurged on the 80 minute massage and it did not disappoint. I was so relaxed, I fell asleep a few times. My masseuse even apologized for the loud conversation occuring outside my treatment room, but it didn't matter. I was in heaven. I have some varicose and spider veins on my right lower leg. She was so gentle and accommodating, it was incredible. This is my first experience at a medical spa. I was unaware of the gratuity rules. I hope my ladies receive a great bonus because they deserve it. I will definitely be back at Pure Vida in the future. More
