Professional Credentials:

After working as a nurse for more than 29 years, I decided to follow my dreams and returned to college to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. During my training, I was incredibly fortunate to work many months alongside a board-certified family practice doctor who is also a functional medicine practitioner. Through this experience, I found a real passion for optimizing male and female hormones. Using diagnostic tools like blood work, specialized micronutrient testing, and a detailed health history, I am able to formulate tailor-made treatment plans to restore hormone balance and improve sexual health. Treatment plans often include bio-identical hormones, vitamins, herbal supplements, injections, and/or IV nutrition. Working at Pura Vida Body & Mind Spa as an aesthetic nurse practitioner, I am able to focus on helping people live healthier and happier lives by improving their overall health and wellness rather than treating illness.

What to Expect:

Utilizing my knowledge of naturopathic and allopathic medicine, I will be able to help improve a variety of conditions including hormone imbalances, male and female sexual health, low sex drive, Breast Implant Illnesses (BII), fatigue, insomnia, allergies, migraines, autoimmune disease, insomnia, PCOS, adrenal support, hair loss, GI imbalances, poor concentration, Thyroid health, and many more issues and concerns.

On a Personal Note:

When I’m not working, I find joy in spending time with my family and my dogs. My husband and I have been married 22 years and have two amazing children. My son, Parker, is pursuing his education and training to become a commercial airline pilot like his father. My daughter, Taylor, recently graduated from Fleming Island high school and will be pursuing her education in criminal justice to become an FBI agent. Our fur-kids are all rescues from kill shelters and special-needs organizations. The nurse in me finds it super rewarding to adopt dogs with special needs. Currently, we have Tressy, an English bulldog with spina bifida and Zeus, a deaf Great Dane mix who is learning sign language.
